Find your way around New Zealand with AA Guides

November 13, 2014 by Rosemary Neave 4 Comments

AA travel and mapsAA stands for Automobile Association, it is a very trusted brand in New Zealand, with most New Zealanders belonging to it at some stage in their life.  Apart from Roadside Assistance and insurance, they have some other excellent travel resources.

AA is how New Zealanders travel..

AA Maps

The maps are fantastic, and heaps better for New Zealand that Google Maps (in my opinion).

You can easily work out how long it will take you to drive from A to C via B, and how many miles it is.

101 must do aaAA Travel

Download the AA Travel App to your Smartphone to find great local accommodation options – almost all but the smallest B&B operators advertise on this site, so it is very comprehensive.  Or Follow them on Facebook to find the latest gem

You can find the 101 Must Dos that New Zealanders have on their bucket list this summer.

See their free accommodation guides and regional guides at any I-Site.

AA Magazine and Website

AA also have some great travel information on their website – I have just discovered two that caught my eye

Coming to New Zealand on an Olivia cruise in February! Have never been and this is a dream vacation! Wish I could stay longer and take in anything you offer, but 10 days with 2 more traveling will be all I can handle!
